Bakker Diamonds is a family owned and operated boutique manufacturing jeweller and diamond merchant located in Brisbane. Peter Bakker designs and creates diamond jewellery in house to his clients specifications. With over 30 years experience, it’s his job to help you find the right stone, design your piece in conjunction with you and then make it in his workshop. There are no shop assistants, no cabinet keys, no high-pressure sales and no flashy advertising.
It is important to note that by handling diamond buying, importing, and ring manufacturing in-house, Peter has eliminated three levels of middlemen from the typical jewellery store. What does this mean to you? A visibly better diamond at an obviously better price.
Our philosophy is that important jewellery purchases should be carefully considered so as to maximise the wearer’s enjoyment and the purchaser’s value for money.
Most importantly, your budget is your budget. You set it and Peter will help you find the best quality and value for your money. Remember, almost any ring can be made to fit any budget. With Peters’ guidance you decide on the size and quality of your diamond, and the karat of gold or platinum for your ring, and Peter will build the ring to those specifications.
Peter believes that the best way to choose your diamond is in person. You need to see the stone. You need to look at it through the right magnification tools to see any inclusions or marks and learn everything you need to know about diamonds in order to make your choice. It is very important to remember that diamonds are a natural product and no two are ever the same.
