Enough cannot be said about how professional, courteous and helpful Peter Bakker is. In addition to this, most importantly, he is a top-tier jeweller. We were referred to him by a number of friends and colleagues, all of whom had dealt with him and could not speak more highly of his skills and personality. My fiance, Anna, and I designed her engagement ring together, and because of this, visited Peter several times during the process. Each time, he greeted us with a friendly and welcoming manner and always made us feel comfortable. Peter actually listened to us and what we were after as the ‘perfect ring’ and out of all our descriptive chaos, was able to not only design, but produce an absolute stunning ring, which is the epitomy of perfection in our eyes. I felt it is important for me to let you know how my experience was when looking for the perfect ring to propose to my now fiancé. It isn’t a decision that one should take lightly. Everyone you talk to has the”best” jeweller to recommend. After meeting with a few different jewellers and with my non-existent knowledge of diamonds, I didn’t know what to expect and didn’t know which direction to go. Cut, clarity, color or carat? I was given so many different recommendations and had many mixed opinions. I was recommended Peter by a great mate and not only did I feel comfortable with his knowledge of diamonds, but also the recommendations he gave.
